Drivers Make WOOSTER A Safe Carrier
Wooster invests time and money to train drivers through its safely programs. A prime example of this fact is that Wooster Motor Ways has received numerous awards as a result of our low accident frequency. But when it comes to maintaining an excellent safety record, it is the Wooster drivers who step up to the challenge. We are proud to recognize two of our drivers with outstanding safely records.

2002 OTA Driver of the Year
By any standards, Myron Stough, Jr. is an employee who can be described as the best at what he does. His performance, dedication, work ethic, and achievements put him in an elite group of top drivers in the trucking industry.

The Ohio Trucking Association (OTA) selects one Driver of the Month from hundreds of nominations submitted by Ohio trucking companies. Stough has received this respected honor twice. On an annual basis, the OTA then selects one driver from the 12 monthly recipients for the prestigious Driver of the Year Award, which Stough earned in 2002.

In March of 2003, Stough received a 31 Year Safe Driving Award from Wooster Motor Ways. What made his accomplishment amazing is that he did not have a single accident during this time. Stough attributes his success to never hurrying or rushing, avoiding the unsafe acts of other motorists, and always driving for the conditions. Stough has completed the Highway Watch training program and continues to work as a peddle driver under the challenging conditions in Cleveland, Ohio.
